Rumours on social media say the law enforcer was part of the people marching from court where Malawi Congress Party (MCP) and UTM party are seeking nullification of the May 21st presidential elections results.
However, in an interview with Fake Watch Africa, MPS National Spokesperson James Kadadzera described the rumours as fake saying no officer has been arrested.
“The story circulating is fake, as far as we are concerned no officer has been arrested,” said Kadadzera.
